Joel Kelsey is the grassroots coordinator for Consumers Union, the non-profit publisher of Consumer Reports, working out of the Yonkers and Washington, D.C. offices. Joel manages the grassroots component of Consumers Union�s media reform and telecommunications work and provides support on other key campaigns. He is responsible for working closely with state and federal policy makers, community leaders and citizen activists throughout the country. Prior to joining Consumers Union, Joel served as chairperson for the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) and later worked as NYPIRG�s New York City outreach director and then as the statewide campaigns coordinator. Joel graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science from the State University of New York at New Paltz. |
