Johann Dretchen is Division Senior Vice President, Operations, for Civilian/Homeland Security Solutions in the General Dynamics Information Technology business unit. Prior to the acquisition of Anteon Corporation by General Dynamics, Ms. Dretchen was the Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategic Initiatives and the Deputy to the Senior Vice President Business Development at Anteon's headquarters in Fairfax, Va. In the capacity as Deputy, she was responsible for all functions associated with Corporate Business Development and assumed the role of "acting" Head of Business Development as required. Ms. Dretchen was responsible for the management and coordination of Anteon service offering domains (systems integration, systems engineering, simulation/training, strategic/program management support, operations) across Anteon Strategic Business Units (SBUs); corporate BD portal and corporate databases that support strategic and tactical proposal development, and capture of large opportunities that require inter-SBU qualifications and assets. Ms Dretchen chaired corporate Business Strategy Reviews and corporate proposal Gold teams; oversaw Anteon Quality System initiatives and identification of Anteon Intellectual Property (IP); and participated in the development of corporate capabilities strategy and board-directed special projects as required. Prior to this assignment, Ms Dretchen was the Group Senior Vice President in Anteon's Information Systems Group, responsible for a $100M Information Technology unit. Ms. Dretchen came to Anteon through the acquisition of Analysis and Technology (A&T) in 1998 serving as a Senior Vice President managing the Vector Research Division, a group providing information technology, engineering and management services. Prior to that, Ms. Dretchen spent 17 years at Vector Research Co., a small business that was acquired by A&T in 1996, serving in progressively increasing roles, including her last six years as Director of Operations. Johann has over 25 years of experience in managing programs and resources in areas of information technology services and solutions. Ms. Dretchen received a Masters of Science Degree in Statistics from the University of Iowa and a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Queens College.
