John James is a mining engineer with extensive experience in exploration, mine construction, mine planning and management. He held senior positions in Australia with a major mining construction company and companies with underground nickel and base metal operations. As Principal and owner of JAMine, Inc. (formerly James Askew Associates, Inc.), which provides geological, mining engineering and management services to the mining industry, he was involved in assignments completed in Australia, Canada, Central and South America, Mexico, Poland, Russia, North Africa and the U.S.A.
Since moving to the U.S.A. in 1988, as well as extensive consulting and study work, James has completed construction and senior management contracts for U.S. and Canadian public companies engaged in exploration and development in Latin America, and open pit and underground mines in the U.S.A. and Canada. James holds a BS in Mining Engineering. |
