John A. Blanchard III has been a director of ADC since November 1999 and non-executive Chairman of the Board since August 2003. He served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of eFunds Corp. a provider of transaction processing and risk management services from June 2000 to September 2002. He continued to serve as a transition advisor and as a member of the Board of Directors of eFunds Corp. until December 31 2002 at which time he retired from eFunds. eFunds Corp. was established as a subsidiary of Deluxe Corporation became a publicly held company in June 2000 and was completely spun-off from Deluxe in December 2000. Mr. Blanchard served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Deluxe a supplier of business forms and related services to financial institutions from May 1995 to December 2000 and as Chairman of the Board of Deluxe Corporation from May 1996 to December 2000. From January 1994 to April 1995 Mr. Blanchard was Executive Vice President of General Instrument Corporation a supplier of systems and equipment to the cable and satellite television industry. From 1991 to 1993 Mr. Blanchard was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Harbridge Merchant Services Inc. a national credit card processing company. Prior to that Mr. Blanchard was employed by AT&T for 25 years most recently as Senior Vice President responsible for national business sales. Mr. Blanchard also serves as a director of Wells Fargo & Company. |
