John A. Cottingham has served as Senior Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Invitrogen since May 2004. He served as Vice President General Counsel for Invitrogen from May 2000 until May 2004. Prior to the merger of Life Technologies with Invitrogen Mr. Cottingham was the General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Life Technologies from January 1996 to May 2000. From May 1988 through December 1995. He served as an international corporate attorney with the Washington D.C. office of Fulbright and Jaworski L.L.P. Mr. Cottingham received his B.A. in Political Science from Furman University his J.D. from the University of South Carolina and his LL.M. in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University. |
