Background:Mumford was a co-founder and Board member of four public companies: Hello Direct, Inmac, Office Club (Office Depot) and Ariba. Since 1994, Mumford's primary focus has been on new B2B eCommerce opportunities in network platforms, applications, vertical and horizontal application service providers, net market makers and industry exchanges where Crosspoint has over fifty B2B investments. He is an initial stage investor in Ariba, Autovia, Buzzsaw, Callidus, CenterBeam, Certive, Comergent, Connectify (Kana), E2open, National Transportation Exchange, Petrocosm Exchange, TestMart, Alliente and WhereNet. Earlier in his career, Mumford was a management consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick, and in systems sales with IBM. He previously served as a Director of the National Venture Capital Association and is on the Advisory Board of Silicon Valley Bank.
