Experience
Mr.York concentrates his practice in the representation of lenders and financial institutions in the areas of loan documentation and loan restructures, as well as general corporate and commercial matters. He is the former Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of Delaware Trust Company and Associate General Counsel of Mellon Bank (East) N.A.
During his years in banking, Mr. York had line officer experience in the areas of trust and international banking and senior staff responsibility for the formulation of strategic plans. He has served as a member of the bank's most senior general management committee, and as Secretary and Counsel to numerous holding company affiliates engaged in money management, leasing, international trade, capital markets functions and data processing services.
Professional Activities
Mr. York was formerly a member of the Governor's Council on International Trade in Delaware and has served as an advisor to numerous emerging and high growth companies.
Mr. York serves as the Chairman of the Board for the following not-for-profits: Bustletom Housing Development Corporation; Castor Housing Development Corporation; Center-South Housing Development Corporation; Crease-Dyre Housing Development Corporation; Keystone Housing Development Corporation; and Walnut Housing Development Corporation.

He is admitted to the Bars in Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Education
Mr. York earned his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and graduated from the University of Virginia Law School in 1967.
