Mr. Magee, head of the firm's Tax Controversy Group and member of the Executive Committee, focuses on tax controversy and international tax issues, including transfer pricing. He has 30 years of experience in all aspects of income tax planning, Internal Revenue Service administrative proceedings and tax litigation. Mr. Magee has tried cases in the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. District Courts and argued in appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Mr. Magee speaks extensively in a variety of tax forums, and as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Tax Program of the Georgetown Law Center, he teaches "International Transfer Pricing: Theory vs. Practice."
A graduate of the University of Washington School of Law, Mr. Magee served on the Law Review and received the Order of the Coif distinction.
