Mr. John C. Antenucci, President and CEO, was appointed a director on November 3, 1997. He is the founder of, and has been president and CEO of PlanGraphics, Inc., since 1979. He is a former president of AM/FM International (now GITA), a professional association for utility industry users of GIS.
He has served as a member of the National Academy of Sciences Advisory Committee on the Future of the U.S. Geological Survey and in a similar capacity on the Academy's Advisory Committee for Mapping Sciences. He serves as an advisor to Ohio State University's Center for Mapping, has recently co-authored the Manual of GeoSpatial Science and Technology, and was editor and co-author of a leading textbook on geographic information systems. Mr. Antenucci holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering/Water Resources from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution.
