John C. Butler III, a director at LECG, has extensive experience analyzing domestic and international environmental and insurance issues, having served as a consultant to numerous multinational companies, law firms and government agencies. He has testified before congress and as an expert witness in the areas of hazardous waste, environmental insurance, asbestos, product liability and investment analysis. He advises clients on cost allocation and settlement of insurance coverage disputes, and has been involved in some of the largest environmental insurance settlements with foreign and domestic insurers. Mr. Butler received his bachelor's degree and was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia concentrating in math, chemistry and physics. He received a master's degree in chemistry from Harvard University. |
