John C. DuBose joined The South Financial Group in December 1998 and serves as Executive Vice President, Technology and Financial Services. His responsibilities include developing and delivering superior technology and financial-based products and services for The South Financial Group and its subsidiaries. He is also responsible for financial services (including trust, brokerage, insurance, and wealth management), branch administration, loan operations and the Sales and Service Center. Prior to joining The South Financial Group, Mr. DuBose was Senior Vice President in charge of nationwide service delivery at NationsBank Services Company following its acquisition of Barnett Bank. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. DuBose was Director of Technology Services at Barnett Technologies, which served as the technology operations arm of the Barnett national enterprise.Prior to joining Barnett, Mr. DuBose was Senior Director of Telecommunications at CSX Technology. Mr. DuBose's technology teams over the past thirty years have received corporate and national recognition for innovative and cost-effective information technology applications and quality performance. He is a director of the South Carolina Automated Clearing House Association and serves on the Federal Reserve Fifth District Operations Advisory Committee. Mr. DuBose graduated from The University of South Carolina with honors from The Moore School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree. |
