Professional Experience
Mr. Funk has represented numerous developers, corporations and financial institutions with respect to land-use and environmental matters. The projects he has handled range from major office buildings, shopping centers and mixed-used structures to master-planned communities, multi-residential housing and urban redevelopment.
Prior to commencing private practice in 1979, Mr. Funk served as a Deputy Los Angeles City Attorney, advising the City Council, the Planning Commission and other City boards and commissions with respect to land-use and environmental law.
During his career, Mr. Funk has handled countless land development, regulatory and environmental assessment matters involving municipalities, counties and agencies throughout California.
