Mr. MacFarlane was one of the founders of the Milestone Venture Group, a private equity mergers and acquisitions firm. He has over 30 years of executive-level management and financial experience. He formerly was president of a Houston, Texas based oilfield service company. Mr. MacFarlane has over 13 years of executive-level experience in international oil and gas and environmental service operations, including manufacturing, chemicals and service operations, with both Baker-Hughes, Inc. and TETRA Technologies, Inc. After graduating magna cum laude with a BBA in accounting from the University of Houston, he joined Ernst & Young working in both the Houston, Texas and Orange County, California offices. Mr. MacFarlane is a certified public accountant and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
