John C. Malone has been a director of IAC since May 2006 and previously served as a director of IAC (or its predecessors) from October 2001 through September 2004. Dr. Malone has served as the Chairman of the Board of Liberty since 1990 and served as Liberty's Chief Executive Officer from August 2005 through February 2006. Dr. Malone also served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Tele-Communications Inc. or TCI from November 1996 to March 1999. Prior to that Dr. Malone served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TCI since 1973. Dr. Malone also serves as Chairman of the Board of Liberty Global Inc. as a director of Expedia Inc. and The Bank of New York as a shareholder representative of Discovery Communications Inc. and as Chairman Emeritus of the Board for Cable Television Laboratories Inc.
