John C. Dippold, a principal, joined the firm in 1996. He served on Carney's Board of Directors for five years and is currently Co-Chair of the firm's Construction Department. John's practice principally involves construction litigation, commercial litigation, commercial development, real estate, and federal/state government contracts. John also served as a Commissioner for the Issaquah Highlands Development Commission from 1999-2003 and as Vice-Chairman of the Commission in 2004. Prior to joining Carney, John worked for the General Services Board of Contract Appeals while obtaining his LL.M. in Government Procurement at George Washington University. While attending the University of Salzburg School of Law in Salzburg, Austria, John studied under Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. John's primary clients include developers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
