John C. Landgraf is senior vice president for Abbott's Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Supply. His responsibilities include manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain management and engineering services for the entire corporation. Landgraf was previously vice president, Quality Assurance and Compliance, for Abbott's Medical Products Group. He assumed his current role in July of 2004.
Landgraf joined Abbott on August 22, 1977 and worked in key positions in Plant Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Marketing in the Diagnostic area. In 1988, Landgraf led the Quality function in the Specialty Products Division and became divisional vice president of the chemical business unit, and finally divisional vice president of sales and marketing. In 1997, Landgraf became vice president of International Manufacturing for Abbott's International Division. He was also Divisional Vice President for Abbott's Corporate Engineering Division and served as Vice President of operations for Abbott's Diagnostic Division from 2002 to 2003.
Prior to joining Abbott, Landgraf worked in research and development for Inolex Corporation in Glenwood, Ill.
Landgraf serves on the boards for the Clara Abbott Foundation, the National Association of Manufacturers, Northern Illinois University and the Northeastern Illinois Council Boy Scouts of America. |
