Deloitte & Touche's Assurance and Advisory Services group most recently Senior Manager.
Representative examples of John's professional experience include:
Coordination and execution of annual 10K audit - including review of financial statements footnotes and MD&A.
Coordination and execution Sarbanes Oxley internal control audit spanning multiple distinct business units including international locations.
Investigation and analysis of complex restructuring activities
Performance of research related to complex accounting issues and PCAOB and SEC rules.
Review quarterly financial statements as presented on Form 10Q.
Audit of multiple employee benefit plans (including DC DB ESOP and Health & Welfare plans).
Audit of Fresh Start balance sheet revaluation in connection with a client's emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Audit of financial statements in compliance with SOP 90-7 while a client was in bankruptcy.
Management of complex engagements through budgeting planning and supervision of staff throughout the entire audit process.
Coordination of audit efforts for multiple service lines including: tax IT auditors valuation specialists and actuary services.
