Dr. John D. Martens is a Managing Engineer in Exponent�s Electrical and Semiconductors practice. He specializes in: control systems circuit design and analysis consumer products design and failure analysis programmable logic controllers electronic components failure analysis printed circuit board failure analysis microprocessor-based control and computer systems automotive control systems computer vision systems robotics and automation and intellectual property issues.
Dr. Martens direct experience developing advanced vehicle control systems and has led an R&D team from the initial development to the production-ready design of an active rear steering system for improved vehicle performance.
