John D. Watson joined the firm in 1971 as a trial lawyer after serving as a law clerk for Justice Lyle Brown of the Arkansas Supreme Court. He has tried more than 140 cases in many areas of law before juries, judges and arbitration panels, and argued more than 40 cases before appellate courts. He has served more than 60 times as an arbitrator or mediator and currently serves as a member of the Large Complex Panel of the American Arbitration Association. In addition, he serves as hearing officer for the Contractors Liscensing Board where he has heard more than 900 contested cases over his 16 year tenure.
