John Peterson focuses his practice on business litigation, including business dissolution, bank-related issues, and litigation on behalf of employers in the areas of wrongful termination, employee discipline, Title VII, Fair Employment and Housing Act, wage and hour matters, executive employment contract disputes, confidential information, and trade secret protection. Mr. Peterson has particular experience in unfair competition litigation, defense of sexual harassment, discrimination and breach of contract lawsuits on behalf of employers, and in real property and commercial/agricultural litigation. Mr. Peterson is a speaker on litigation and employment topics for large and small groups of employers and their counsel, including the State Bar of California, and the California Continuing Education of the Bar Program. He is also co-author of Litigating Class Action Lawsuits in California , National Business Institute. Mr. Peterson is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central, Southern Northern, and Eastern Districts; United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; and all of the California State Courts. |
