John Lowe is executive vice president of planning, strategy and corporate affairs for ConocoPhillips. He is responsible for planning and strategic transactions, emerging business, government affairs and communications.
Lowe previously served as senior vice president of corporate strategy and development and was responsible for the forward strategy, development opportunities and public relations functions of Phillips Petroleum Company. He was named to his current position in 2001 after serving as senior vice president of planning and strategic transactions in 2000 and vice president of planning and strategic transactions in 1999.
Lowe currently serves on the boards of directors for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, DCP Midstream, LLC (formerly Duke Energy Field Services), the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the National Association of Manufacturers. He was named to the board of DCP Midstream Partners on Nov. 25, 2005.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in finance and accounting from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kan.
Lowe is a certified public accountant.
He and his wife, Susan, have two daughters. |
