John F. Presper is a patent attorney in the firm�s Litigation Practice Group, focusing on patent litigation in the federal courts. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Presper was an internal auditor for a Fortune 25 telecommunications company. He interned at United Technologies Corporation during law school and worked as an intellectual property and strategic business analyst for Pratt & Whitney upon graduation. Before joining the firm, Mr. Presper was a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas P. Smith of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Mr. Presper received his Juris Doctorate and a Certificate in Intellectual Property from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. While in law school, Mr. Presper studied European Union law and economics at the Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University.
Mr. Presper is admitted to the Connecticut and New York State Bars and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He also is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Mr. Presper is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. |
