John Szakach joined TASER International in February 2004. In his role as Vice President Quality Assurance John is responsible for establishing and maintaining a world-class quality management system including obtaining initial registration to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. He also has responsibility for incoming and final inspection safety document control and supplier quality. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt ISO 9000 Lead Auditor and TASER Master Instructor. He has experience with Six Sigma ISO Lean root cause analysis mistake-proofing and other quality concepts. John has been a TASER Master Instructor and member of the Training Board for four years and is a Certified Close Quarter Combat Instructor.
John Szakach is a retired airline pilot with extensive management experience in standards compliance quality control and training. His previous responsibilities included establishing and maintaining operating and training standards for over 10 000 pilots. In addition he was accountable for all security issues related to in-flight security including security training and planned deployment of the ADVANCED TASER for defense of the cockpit. He holds a B.S. degree in Aviation Science. |
