Mr. Reno has been a Director of Millipore since 1993 and is currently Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee and a Member of the Management Development and Compensation Committee.
Mr. Reno received an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
In 1964 Mr. Reno joined G. H. Walker & Co. an investment banking firm in New York City and served in various capacities prior to becoming a partner in that firm. In 1974 Mr. Reno joined Dynatech Corporation manufacturer of a diversified line of proprietary electronic microprocessor-based equipment instruments and systems as General Manager and President of the Cryomedical Division. He subsequently held a number of senior management positions including Vice President for Corporate Development (1979); Senior Vice President for Corporate Development (1982); Executive Vice President (1987) and President and Chief Operating Officer (1991).
From 1993 until his retirement in 1999 Mr. Reno served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dynatech. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Dynatech from 1993 (becoming Chairman of the Board 1996) until his retirement. He is a Trustee (former Chairman of the Board of Trustees) of the Boston Museum of Science and is now also a Trustee and Chair of the Compensation Committee of WGBH Broadcasting in Boston. Mr. Reno is the founder of "A Better Chance" program for disadvantaged youths in Winchester Massachusetts. He is also a Director of Nelson Irrigation Corporation. |
