John Conley is a co-founder of Gilliam Capital and a Senior Advisor to JSB-Partners based in our Boston office. Mr. Conley brings over 17 years of business expertise from business development and finance positions in leading biotech companies in North America and Europe.
Experience
Prior to joining JSB-Partners, Mr. Conley was Vice President of Business Development at Transkaryotic Therapies through its acquisition by Shire Pharmaceuticals. He was a co-founder of the RNA interference therapeutics company Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, and held the position of Vice President, Strategy and Finance and CFO through to its successful 2004 IPO. From 1989-2000, Mr. Conley was at Biogen Inc. (now Biogen-IDEC) serving in several marketing, business development, sales and finance positions, including Country Manager United Kingdom and Ireland, and Treasurer. From 1985-1989, he was a Manager at the strategy consulting firm of Bain & Company.

Mr. Conley is member of the board of directors of the YMCA of Greater Boston and the Danforth Museum of Art.

Mr. Conley earned a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. |
