Mr. O'Rourke has been responsible for The GEO Group's business management since 1991, assuming the position of Chief Financial Officer in 1994. Over this 13 year period, the Company grew from approximately $30 million in revenue to more than $617.5 million in 2003. Prior to joining WCC, Mr. O'Rourke was a career officer in the United States Air Force. In addition to operational flying experience as an instructor pilot in B-52 aircraft, his assignments included senior executive positions in the Pentagon involved in planning, managing and implementing several multi-billion dollar national security projects, including the B-2 Stealth Bomber. Mr. O'Rourke earned his bachelor's degree in International Relations from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a master's degree in Political Science from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He is also a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College. |
