John H. Brown joined EWEB's Board of Commissioners in January 2007. He was elected to the at-large position, representing the entire city.
John's primary area of interest is protection of the water supply. He has been involved with river issues for more than three decades.
John has 28 years of experience as a real estate appraiser and is currently a principle with Evans, Elder & Brown, Inc., a local commercial real estate firm.
In addition to EWEB, his current community service includes serving as a member of the Eugene Police Commission, HIV Alliance Board of Advisors and Downtown Safety Task Force. He is president of the Cal Young Neighborhood Association.
His past community service includes membership on the board of directors for the Relief Nursery, the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Eugene, Inc. and the Downtown Commission. He is a past chairperson of the Willakenzie Planning Team. |
