Associated with the firm since 1980, John McCarthy represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil litigation matters, including medical malpractice, workers' compensation claims, and mass tort actions. He taught trial methods for five years as an adjunct faculty member at Western New England College School of Law. He is the former chairman of the Chicopee Development Corporation, a former trustee of Elms College, and a former member of the Chicopee Zoning Board of Appeals. He has been coaching youth sports for 25 years, has been actively involved with the Home and School Association and the parish council at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Aldenville Junior Athletic Club, and was the first President of the Holyoke Catholic High School booster club. He lives in Chicopee with his wife and two children. |
