John McGrath manages a team of engineering and scientific professionals who are developing and testing aviation safety and homeland security technologies for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other government agencies. Prior to joining SRA in July 2005 in the acquisition of Galaxy Scientific Corporation, McGrath was responsible for Galaxy�s Safety and Security Technologies division, where he was instrumental in expanding business, including winning the FAA Technical Center Multiple Area Support Services Engineering Support Services Area (MASS ESSA) contract.
McGrath has over 25 years of experience in leadership positions in operations management, providing oversight for large systems integration and multiple delivery order contracts in the government market. Before joining Galaxy, he was the operations manager for Computer Sciences Corporation�s integrated systems division.
He is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA), the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
