John J. Scally, Jr. is a partner in the firm�s Corporate and Securities Practice Group. A seasoned lawyer with more than three decades of experience, John concentrates his practice in public finance. He has represented the state of New Jersey and several state agencies as bond counsel, and has handled complex financings throughout the country for a wide range of clients including leading public finance investment banking firms, public power issuers, nonprofit colleges, universities, hospitals and state and local governments. Prior to joining the firm, John was a partner of McCarter & English, LLP in Newark, N.J.
John frequently speaks to trade and professional organizations. He is also the author of several articles published in the New Jersey Municipal Finance Officers� Association publication, The Bottom Line.
A graduate of the Catholic University of America, School of Law, John is admitted in New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the state bar associations of New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia, and the Essex County Bar Association. A Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel, John is also a trustee of the American Conference on Diversity, St. Vincent Academy in Newark, N.J., and a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. |
