Mr. Duncan was elected Chairman of the Board in June 2006 and a director of Wolverine since December 1993. In October 2002, Mr. Duncan stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of Martin Industries, Inc. ("Martin"), a position he held since June 2000. Mr. Duncan also served as director of Martin from May 1999 through October 2002. During this time Martin manufactured and sold pre-engineered fireplaces, gas heaters, gas logs and related equipment. On December 27, 2002, Martin filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Mr. Duncan retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Murray Ohio Manufacturing Co., a position he held from 1987 to 1994. |
