As Director of Property Management for Struever Bros Eccles & Rouse, John oversees property operations and marketing for commercial properties managed by SBER. He brings nearly 20 years experience in the management and marketing of urban/mixed-use projects to the Operating Properties team. Mr. Pezzulla began his career with SBER in April 2000, as General Manager of two of the company's initial adaptive reuse buildings, the historic former American Can Company in Canton and the Bagby Building in Baltimore's Little Italy neighborhood. In 2004, Mr. Pezzulla assumed the role of Director of Property Management and has been instrumental in the growth of SBER's portfolio of in house managed properties, from approximately 400,000sf in 2000 to nearly 2,000,000 sf in 2007. In addition to the former American Can Company and the Bagby Building, Mr. Pezzulla is involved in other notable SBER commercial properties such as the newly transformed Belvedere Square in North Baltimore City, Clipper Mill, Harbor East, and Bond Street Wharf. Prior to joining SBER, Mr. Pezzulla was employed by The Rouse Company for 12 years. At The Rouse Company, Mr. Pezzulla was involved in the daily operations and marketing of two of the nation's most successful and highly acclaimed waterfront festival marketplaces, Harborplace & The Gallery in Downtown Baltimore, MD and Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami, Florida. Before he began his career in Real Estate/Property Management, Mr. Pezzulla founded a Baltimore based record company and managed several music acts. In addition, while he was a student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, pursuing a degree in Business Management, John founded and was the first General Manager of the school's first ever student run FM radio station, WXJM, and also served as President of the Senior Class. At SBER, Mr. Pezzulla has been a member of SBER's Dragon Boat teams since 2002, including the 2006 Championship silver medalist team. |
