John, an experienced tax attorney, is a Tax Manager with the Cincinnati office of Joseph Decosimo and Company.
John has extensive international and federal tax experience specifically in the areas of transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, cash movement and U.S. Customs audits, as well as mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of domestic and foreign subsidiaries. He has worked with tax treaties of numerous countries and is familiar with local country income tax systems in the Americas, Europe and Asia. John also has experience with the international tax considerations for intellectual property. Additionally, he has served as a human resources tax advisor on expatriate issues.
Industries served include agricultural, ocean shipping, financial services and banking.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from the University�s College of Law. His professional affiliations include memberships with the American Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
John also serves as President of The Dressage Company (a USDF affiliate), Treasurer of the nonprofit amateur paleontology club Dry Dredgers, as well as a member of the Paleontological Society and Patron of the Journal of Paleobiology. |
