John N. Ross is a Managing Director. He is responsible for business development and account management activities for the firm. Mr. Ross has extensive experience with Fortune 500, middle market, and international companies involving mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, corporate finance, restructuring, ad valorem taxation, collateral financing, condemnation, estate and gift taxation, cost segregation, feasibility and marketability studies, intellectual property, fairness and solvency opinions, international transfer pricing, ESOPs, corporate conversions, bankruptcy and reorganization, and other business, tax, and litigation related matters. Mr. Ross has presented seminars on various subjects related to tangible and intangible asset valuation issues. Preceding the formation of our firm, Mr. Ross was with international valuation consulting firms Marshall & Stevens and American Appraisal Associates, where he planned and managed valuation engagements for various purposes in a broad range of industries worldwide. Mr. Ross earned a BBA in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Institute of Property Taxation, Turnaround Management Association, and the International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives. Mr. Ross also serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Michigan Chapter of Junior Achievement and serves in a leadership capacity for the United Way and the Alzheimer s Association of Michigan.
