John Poole brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career developing on-line information services, prior to the commercialization of the internet. In 1988, as Regional Manager for Inacom, John opened a new authorized AT&T dealer sales location, Strategic Products and Services (SPS), in New Jersey. SPS focused on providing AT&T communications to small and mid-sized businesses. In 1992, John acquired the New Jersey-based operations from the corporate parent in divestiture and created an independent company - Strategic Products and Services (SPS). At this time, John started a second company, Sales Resources, an Authorized Master Sales Agency for AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where he sold and trained end-users on AT&T and Lucent Technologies' communications systems. Sales Resources and SPS merged in 2001 and today, SPS is now one of Avaya's leading and most successful authorized business partners nationwide. John received his Bachelor of Science, Physics from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL and his Master in Management Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. |
