John Tietjen (pronounced; Tee-gin) joined Management Recruiters of Chattanooga-North, Inc. in May of 2003 and provides search and placement expertise with all levels of accounting/finance professionals in international manufacturing and distribution, and also in domestic service and non-profit (associations) sectors.

John possesses a passion for the accounting and finance functions of organizations which enhances his ability to qualify candidates and match them with employer needs. All search assignments are treated with equal dedication whether a staff accountant or Executive level.

Prior to joining Management Recruiters as an account executive, John held various executive level financial positions in Cleveland, Atlanta, Dallas and Louisville. As Senior Vice-President, CFO and Corporate Secretary of a publicly traded corporation, he was responsible for all financial functions, multi-site plant reporting, information systems, human resources, shareholder relations and SEC reporting.

John obtained his MBA degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and his undergraduate degree from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio. He and his wife, Ginny live in the Chattanooga area and have two grown children living in Louisville, Kentucky.
