John P. Jumper is a Senior Advisor on matters concerning Aerospace and Defense, Industrial and Automotive business areas. He is based in Washington, DC.
Mr. Jumper joined the private sector in November 2005 after serving 39 years in the Air Force. He served as Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the service's highest uniformed position, and as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He also commanded U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Combat Command at the four star level. Prior to that, Mr. Jumper served as the Senior Military Assistant to two secretaries of defense and in the policy directorate of the Joint Staff. He is a combat veteran of Vietnam and Iraq.
Mr. Jumper graduated from VMI with a degree in electrical engineering. He has also received an M.B.A. degree and is a graduate of the National War College. |
