Mr. Madden is a Director at Chanin Capital Partners. He has extensive experience in all phases of financial restructurings and recapitalizations, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, and capital raising. Mr. Madden is an expert in leading both interim management assignments for debtor clients and advisory engagements for debtor and creditor clients. Current and recent engagements include Birch Telecom, Citation Corporation, Delphi Corporation, Global Power Equipment Group, Granite Broadcasting, LSG Sky Chefs, Neoplan, Owens Corning, Supercanal, Ultimate Electronics and WHX Corporation.Formerly, Mr. Madden was a Director of Kroll Zolfo Cooper, where he held positions of increasing responsibility for more than five years. He was a member of the interim senior management team involved in the restructuring of Enron, as Director of Restructuring. Other engagements included: debtor advisor to Washington Group International, Inc. (formerly Morrison Knudsen Corporation); company advisor to Party City Corporation and to Prison Realty Trust/Corrections Corporation of America in their respective out-of-court restructurings; and, debtor advisor to Golden Ocean in its corporate reorganization. Earlier, Mr. Madden was employed as an Accountant by Arthur Andersen LLP in various audit engagements, working in a variety of industries.Mr. Madden earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University. Mr. Madden is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). |
