With two decades of accounting experience, John has a diverse range of experience with clients in various industries. John worked in Public Accounting for firms in Cincinnati, including a Big Six Firm, gaining experience in audit and tax for twelve years before accepting a position as CFO with a large local building materials distribution company.
While in public accounting, John managed financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, and was responsible for client tax compliance for public and privately held companies. Additionally, he was involved in consulting engagements and litigation support. While in industry, he was responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, tax, legal, human resources and other business management.
John was a member of the Madeira City Council from 1993 to 2003, during which time he served as Mayor for two years and Vice Mayor for two years. He chaired the Finance Committee for all ten years while on council.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Kentucky Society of CPAs. |
