John P. Rijos serves as Co-President of Brookdale Senior Living. In 2000, he joined Brookdale Living Communities as President and Chief Operating Officer with over 25 years of experience in acquisition, development and operations of hotels and resorts.
Before joining Brookdale, Mr. Rijos served 16 years as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lane Hospitality Group; owners and operators of over 40 hotels and resorts. Prior to this, he was President of High Country Corporation, a Denver-based hotel development company. He also served as Vice President of Operations and Development of several large real estate trusts specializing in hotels.
Mr. Rijos received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and serves on many tourist boards and committees for companies such as Holiday Inn, Sheraton Hotels and the City of Chicago. |
