John Norris is a Director in LECG's New York office. He has over 20 years engagement management experience in the evaluation of the economic, financial and accounting aspects of damage claims, business valuations and related investigations. Mr. Norris has lead engagement teams involving a broad array of matters including breach of contract, antitrust, business interruption, securities fraud, director and professional liability matters, construction delay and overrun claims, and intellectual property matters. The issues Mr. Norris has focused on issues including forensic accounting, cost allocation, business valuation, loan portfolio valuation, trading and transactional analyses as well as lost profit calculations. Mr. Norris has consulted in extensively in with financial institutions, including insurance and reinsurance enterprises, banks, S&Ls, securities clearings firms and broker dealers. Additionally, he has consulted in nuclear and fossil power generation matters, manufacturing, and real estate development projects. John also served as a temporary receiver for the FTC. He has provided oral testimony in Federal Court, before international tribunals, and state commissions, and in various arbitration and mediation settings.
Mr. Norris earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and a Masters degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. While at the University of Illinois, Mr. Norris taught courses in Introductory Finance, Investments and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Norris was a Director with Peterson Consulting, a unit of Navigant Consulting. |
