Mr. Davies' varied experience includes working for Citicorp for over 14 years; as a computer consultant with small companies on Department of Defense systems for 12 years; and helping to found and operate a spin-off from the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). He went to work at Los Alamos in April of 1993 where he worked on building partnerships with industry. In July 1995 he left the Laboratory to co-found the Center for Adaptive Systems Applications (CASA), a for-profit research and development corporation focused on solving practical industry needs associated with complex adaptive systems. Mr. Davies performed as CEO, President, and/or Chairman of the Board of CASA for nearly four years while building the company to 35 employees and ~$7M annual revenues. At the present time he is working with several early-stage companies, venture firms, and scientists to address critical emerging business needs in the dynamic world of e-Commerce; and serving on the Board of the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation; and the Los Alamos National Laboratory External Advisory Board to facilitate commercialization of the extensive science and technology based in New Mexico. |
