John R. Kasich is managing director at Lehman Brothers in their investment banking division where he is responsible for a range of industry groups, including healthcare, power and utilities and financial institutions.
A former Ohio state senator and member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mr. Kasich played major roles in a variety of groundbreaking achievements during his 18 years in Congress. As chairman of the House Budget Committee, he was the chief architect of the plan that balanced the federal budget and eliminated the federal deficit in 1997.
Mr. Kasich is host of "Heartland with John Kasich" on Fox News and is the author of the New York Times best seller, Courage is Contagious. In addition to Worthington Industries, Mr. Kasich serves as director of Invacare Corporation and Instinet Group, Inc.
