John is a partner in the law firm of Millisor & Nobil Co., L.P.A. His practice is limited to workers' compensation representation of employers and occupational safety and health (OSHA) matters. His undergraduate and law school degrees are from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Stark County, Ohio and American Bar Associations. He is Chairman of the Stark County Bar Association Workers' Compensation Committee. Mr. Slater was an original member of the Bureau Group Rating Committee. He was also an employer representative on the Industrial Commission Wage Loss Committee. He was one of five employer members of the Industrial Commission Subcommittee for Permanent Partial Disability Guidelines. He was also one of four employer representatives on the Industrial Commission Subcommittee for Permanent Total Disability Guidelines. John was also a member of the employer Subcommittee for Permanent Total Disability for the Injured Workers Task Force created by H.B. 107. John is a frequent lecturer on workers' compensation matters. |
