Mr. Kovacs responsibilities include overall management of the Company s capital structure and financial position. This includes maintaining and expanding the company s relationships with institutional investors and negotiating joint venture agreements with operating and investment partners. His duties also include securing acquisitions, construction, and permanent financing for the company s real estate development projects. This also includes securing investors for Historic Tax Credits and New Market Tax Credits. Mr. Kovacs has more than thirty years of progressive and direct experience in the financial and real estate markets. He was formerly Senior Vice President and General Manager, Regional Operations for Kajima Construction Services, a subsidiary of Kajima Corporation. There he developed relationships with Fortune 500 companies, establishing national contracts and preferred contractor status. Mr. Kovacs also held management positions with Price Waterhouse & Co., Research-Cottrell, and American International Group. Mr. Kovacs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Bridgeport and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut.
