Currently a partner with MEDI, an executive coaching firm, John was previously vice chairman and founding member of Witt/Kieffer. John's leadership helped the firm become one of the ten largest search firms in the country, Since 1990, clients and peers have regularly selected John as one of the top 20 executive search consultants in the country.

John has held key leadership positions in the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), including chairing its board of directors, serving on its Code of Ethics and Professional Practice task force, and its Marketing and Public Relations panel. He also serves on the board of the University of Missouri-Columbia Health System.

John is a regular lecturer to graduate school students in health and medical management and is a major contributor to executive education and development. John is a well-regarded speaker and author on executive topics, and conducts national surveys of interest to senior healthcare leaders. John's education includes MBA, MSPH, and BSBA degrees from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
