John T. Reichert is a member of the Financial Institutions practice group in the firm's Milwaukee office. John concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and compliance matters, financing transactions, charter applications, asset purchases and sales, commercial lending transactions and general securities matters.
A native of Milwaukee, John brings a unique business perspective to his practice. Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, he spent eight years in various retail banking and operations management positions at area banks.
John graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in economics. He received his law degree from Marquette Law School where he was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and was named to the Dean's List.
John is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
