John V. Barnett, Jr.

John Barnett is of counsel to Bose McKinney & Evans in addition to his role as senior vice president of Bose Public Affairs Group LLC. Mr. Barnett has been a practicing attorney since 1968. He represents clients in governmental affairs and extend Bose Public Affairs Group's extensive lobbying efforts. As a registered lobbyist in Indiana since 1971, Mr. Barnett has vast experience representing clients before governmental agencies. He helps clients with a variety of issues, including the environment, franchises, gaming, utilities and alcoholic beverages. Additionally, Mr. Barnett has worked extensively with issues pertaining to information technology, taxation, workplace, financial institutions and health. Formerly, Mr. Barnett was the director of public affairs at The Kroger Company. In that capacity, Mr. Barnett was responsible for government relations, media relations, and charitable giving for a five-state area.
