John V. Lovoi was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Gary Loveless in May 2005. He is the Managing Partner of JVL Advisors LLC, a private energy investment company established in 2002. From January 2000 to August 2002, Mr. Lovoi was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Incorporated, and during this period served as head of the firm's Global Oil and Gas Research practice and then as head of the firm's Global Oil and Gas Investment Banking practice. From 1995 to 2000, he was a leading oilfield services and equipment research analyst for Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he spent two years as a senior financial executive at Baker Hughes and four years as an energy investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Lovoi also serves as a director of Cal Dive International, Inc., an energy services company, and KFX Inc., a clean energy technology company engaged in providing technology and service solutions to the power generation industry. Mr. Lovoi holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA degree from the University of Texas. |
