He also serves as a director of the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, as director and treasurer of the National Bureau of Asian Research, on the advisory board of the University of Washington Business School, and is a member of the Washington State University (WSU) Foundation Board of Trustees and the WSU Business School advisory board, and director and past president of Washington Roundtable.
